TWM, (Turner Workflow Manufacturing Ltd) is recognized as a world leader in the design, prototyping and manufacture of springs, Wire Forms, light Pressings and Stampings supplying industry globally. TWM boasts a significant R&D & Tooling Centre allowing complex components to be developed and maintained throughout each product life cycle.
We manufacture precision components for use in a wide spectrum of industry / applications, including; Electronics, Medical Devices, Switchgear, Computers, Automobiles, Mobile Phones, Aeronautics, Solar Industry, Lighting, Furniture, Piping & Gas fittings, Locking devices, Vending machines, Domestic Appliances, Security systems and many more.
At TWM we continuously invest in modern plant and machinery enabling the most complex components to be designed, prototyped and manufactured either in small or large quantities all in accordance with established BS-EN-ISO 9001:2000 quality standards and procedures catering for ISIR, FMEA & SPC fulfillment.
Our modern facilities of 27,500 sqft house a variety of over 60 specialised modern plant & machinery from leading suppliers including Wafios, Itaya, Torrington, Schenker, HTC, Bennett, Turbex amongst many others.
Spring Division - Numerous Spring Coilers plus appropriate testers, loopers, gauges, wire Pay Off’s, sorters together with numerous ancillary machines and a variety of Duplex spring end grinders.
Press Division - A host of flat spring multi-slide machines (Koradi’s) and power presses and smaller bench presses.
Finishing Centre - Chemical passivation plant, cleaning plant and vapour degreasing plant. Heat treatment furnaces and ovens.
Tool Room – Our tool facilities incorporate; spark erosion, surface and cylindrical grinders, mills, laths, saws, measuring equipment, try-out presses and a variety of ancillary equipment. We also utilise CAD technology and Helical Spring design techniques.
Quality & Inspection Department – TWM have a dedicated team of qualified Inspectors who ensure product and process conformance at all times. The department uses state of the art inspection equipment for component monitoring and quality assurance such as load testers, profile projectors and hand held measuring equipment. Where appropriate we also use Vision monitoring equipment designed to detect bubble formation in Hydrochloric acid.
Our Inspection division supplies a variety of certification, in accordance with client instructions;
• Certificate of Conformity (C of C)
• Certificate of Analysis (C of A)
• Product Part Approval process (PPAP)
R&D and Tooling Centre
Our in-house R&D and Tooling centre cater for initial design through to production. Working closely with our qualified and highly experienced team of 25 engineers TWM is geared to producing components in the simplest form to some of the most complex components found in industry today. Helical spring design facilities together with over 40 years of manufacturing excellence enable TWM to assist clients with early stage design and development through to manufacture.
