Our Product Design & Support Centre is available to assist Customers in early stage design through to project signoff and eventual manufacture. TWM encourage a working partnership with Clients in order to ensure that the technical feasibility of initial project(s) satisfy the long-term product application.

Spring & Wireform Design techniques, tooling & sampling
Our Design and Coiling Engineers review all new Spring & Wireform projects to determine actual feasibility of manufacture and / or design limitations and / or re-engineering considerations before committing to eventual manufacture. At TWM we have dedicated Spring & Wireform tooling staff who develop and maintain appropriate tools for our Coiling department. This allows TWM to provide a rapid turnaround service for sample orders yet provides an integrated team capable of running both small and large quantity manufacturing in accordance with client specific instructions.

Sample production can be undertaken at short-notice. We will consider the overall design of the components and any additional manufacturing process such as cleaning, passivation, heat treatment, grinding and other related processes in our initial review.

Metal component design & tooling
Our R&D and Tooling Centre design develop and maintain (refurbish) precision tooling for the most complex to the simplest metal components used in industry today. Some industry sectors that we provide tooling for include Electronics, Medical Device Technology, Automotive, Defense, Mobile technology, Information technology, Mobility, Circuit Boards, Diving devices, Infrastructure industry and many more.

We work in accordance with client instructions and detailed design specifications. New project designs are considered from initial conceptulisation through to initial design & feasibility. Sample testing is entirely possible and re-design / re-engineering is part and parcel of our Tooling methodology – we work with clients to ensure project feasibility at all times.

Our Product Design & Support centre with dedicated qualified engineers and designers work closely with clients to address the on-going technical and qualitative issues thereby ensuring specification conformity and a flexible approach to product evolution.

Our R&D Tooling Centre also provide a refurbishment option for tools owned and managed by external clients. We review all refurbishment requirements and provide analysis and project scope before entering into contract.
